Our Fish Nugget Spice Bag is a deliciously fun way to serve up those all-important two portions of fish a week*. Packed with colourful stir-fried veggies, chunky chips, and golden Donegal Catch Fish Nuggets tossed in a homemade spice mix, it’s perfect for spicing up midweek dinners. Don’t forget the curry sauce on the side — it’s not a proper spice bag without it!

Ingredients
- 2 Pack(s) Donegal Catch Fish Nuggets (air-fried)
- (1 Pack) Use 600g Green Isle Chunky Chips (air-fried)
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 2 red chilli, sliced (optional)
- 150g sugar snap peas
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Spoon of sugar
Spice Bag Mix:
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp Chinese five spice
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- Chilli flakes
- Salt to taste
Simple Curry Sauce:
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 200ml vegetable stock
- 4 tbsp milk or cream
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Cook Donegal Catch Fish Nuggets for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200ºC. Cook Green Isle Chunky Chips for 10 minutes, or until golden and crisp, shaking halfway through.
- While the chips and nuggets cook, heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, sugar snap peas, and chilli. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until slightly charred but still crisp.
- To make the curry sauce: In a small saucepan, whisk together curry powder, vegetable stock, and milk or cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- To finish: Toss the cooked nuggets and chips with the spice bag mix in a large bowl.
- Serve the spiced nuggets and chips over the stir-fried veg, with curry sauce on the side.
